About me

Brings deep experience in media relations, executive messaging, crisis communications and stakeholder engagement. Known for turning complex business issues into clear, credible communications that protect reputation and build trust.

My Career History

For more than 20 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of business, government, communications, and community engagement.

The foundation for my career was built working for the Illinois House of Representatives specializing in public policy for units of local government. That led me to a public affairs role at the Chicagoland Regional Transportation Authority (RTA).

In 2011 I founded and led my own consulting practice where I helped private and public sector clients increase their band awareness to make a bigger impact. After ten years of working for myself I started working corporate communications, first for Caterpillar, and now for Medline.

Today, I am a corporate communications spokesperson for Medline, supporting more than 70 manufacturing and distribution facilities nationwide. I’ve helped build community support for 15 major facility projects, managed a $1 million community partnership program, served as a corporate spokesperson, and advised leaders through complex reputation and community issues.

The common thread throughout my career is simple: I listen, find common ground, and help organizations earn the trust they need to turn big ideas into reality.
